Takeoff Expo Batch 4 concludes, marking a new milestone for aerospace innovation

The fourth edition of the Takeoff Expo successfully concluded, bringing together startups, investors, corporates and innovation leaders to celebrate the completion of the acceleration journey for nine ventures shaping the future of aerospace and advanced hardware.

The event offered a full day of exchange and insight, opening with an inspirational keynote that set the tone for innovation and future challenges. A panel discussion featuring Leonardo and AVIO explored how large industrial players are leveraging innovation through collaboration with startups, while a fireside chat with CDP Venture Capital SGR and Plug and Play Tech Center addressed the role of long-term investment in strategic industries. The spotlight then moved to the Batch 4 startups, with dedicated pitch sessions showcasing their technologies and visions. The experience was further enriched by booth sessions and a networking aperitivo, creating opportunities for meaningful connections and new partnerships across the ecosystem. The success of the event highlights the growing relevance of the Takeoff Accelerator as a platform for fostering innovation in aerospace and advanced hardware. The program is an initiative by CDP Venture Capital SGR, with UniCredit and Fondazione CRT as Promoters and Co-Investors, Plug and Play Tech Center as Accelerator and Co-Investor, OGR Torino as Innovation and Networking Partner, and Unione Industriali Torino as Institutional Partner. Leonardo and AVIO act as Corporate Partners, while the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI) are part of the Scientific Board.
