SatEnlight wins the Novaspace WSBW Pitch-Off Award 2026

On 16 September 2026, SatEnlight took the stage in Paris during World Space Business Week to compete in the Novaspace WSBW Pitch-Off.

Six selected startups presented their companies to an audience of investors, industry leaders and decision-makers during the Space Innovation Summit.

At the end of the competition, SatEnlight was awarded the Novaspace WSBW Pitch-Off Award 2026.

The finalists were assessed on criteria including innovation, customer adoption, market traction, team strength and go-to-market strategy.

SatEnlight presented its approach to free-space optical communications, with a focus on increasing data rates while addressing atmospheric turbulence and the challenges involved in maintaining stable long-range laser links.

The Paris recognition arrived less than six months after SatEnlight’s victory at SATShow Week’s Startup Space Competition in Washington, D.C., in March 2026.

Together, the two international awards marked an important stage in the company’s 2026 journey.

There is still a long path between an emerging technology and its full industrial deployment. However, receiving recognition from two international space-industry communities during the same year gave SatEnlight additional confidence in the direction of its technology and market strategy.
