SatEnlight selected among TechCrunch’s Startup Battlefield 200 for 2026
On 20 August 2026, TechCrunch announced the companies selected for its Startup Battlefield 200, and SatEnlight was included in the 2026 cohort.
The programme selected 200 early-stage companies from thousands of applications worldwide, covering sectors ranging from biotechnology and energy to artificial intelligence, infrastructure and aerospace.
SatEnlight was selected in the Space and Defense category.
The selection secured the company a place at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, scheduled from 13 to 15 October in San Francisco, where the Battlefield companies would have the opportunity to present their technologies to investors, founders and international industry stakeholders.
For SatEnlight, the announcement represented another step in an increasingly international 2026.
Earlier in the year, the company had won the Startup Space Competition in Washington, presented its research within major European optical communication programmes and expanded its network through several acceleration and innovation initiatives.
Startup Battlefield placed SatEnlight in a different ecosystem: one extending beyond the space industry and into the wider global technology and venture capital community.
That exposure is particularly valuable for a deep-tech company building a technology with applications across multiple domains.
By August 2026, SatEnlight was not only positioning its optical communication technology within the satellite sector, but increasingly presenting its vision to the broader international startup and technology market.
