SatEnlight selected for Tech Tour Space 2026 in Bodø
On 10 and 11 September 2026, SatEnlight joined Tech Tour Space 2026 in Bodø, Norway, after being selected among the space technology companies taking part in the programme.
The event brought together more than 30 selected European space-tech companies with investors, industry leaders and strategic partners for two days of pitching sessions, one-to-one meetings and discussions on the future of the European space ecosystem.
For SatEnlight, the selection represented another opportunity to bring its optical communication technology in front of an international audience focused not only on technological innovation, but also on investment and industrial scalability.
During the event, the company presented its work on free-space optical communications and its approach to increasing communication capacity through structured light and Orbital Angular Momentum.
The Bodø stop came during an especially active period for SatEnlight.
Only days earlier, the team had been in Munich for the beginning of SpaceFounders Batch #7. From Norway, the company was already preparing for its next destination: Paris, where SatEnlight had been selected to pitch during World Space Business Week on 16 September.
This sequence of events reflected SatEnlight’s growing international presence during the second half of 2026.
While technology development continued in parallel, programmes such as Tech Tour Space offered the company an opportunity to meet investors and potential industrial partners capable of supporting the transition from experimental validation to commercial deployment.
The September 2026 event was also SatEnlight’s first visit to Norway, adding another European ecosystem to a year increasingly defined by international collaboration.
By the end of the two days in Bodø, the journey was already continuing: Munich, Bodø and Paris within little more than a week, each representing a different part of SatEnlight’s path from deep-tech startup to an emerging player in optical communications.
