Deep Tech Revolution takes off: five startups selected to drive frontier innovation

With 80 candidate projects, 14 regions involved and 5 selected startups, the Deep Tech Revolution program by Area Science Park officially kicks off, marking a significant step in supporting the next generation of deep tech companies. The initiative is designed to foster the development of frontier technologies by providing targeted resources and access to high-level scientific ecosystems. The selected startups — Soundsafe Care (Pisa), Yeastime (Rome), Novac (Modena), Magnetic Future (Bologna) and SatEnlight (Milan) — operate across diverse and strategic sectors, ranging from life sciences and advanced materials to energy and optical telecommunications. Over the coming months, the five companies will benefit from a total support package of €1 million, split equally between direct funding and services. This includes privileged access to research infrastructures, advanced laboratories and specialized scientific expertise within Area Science Park, with the goal of accelerating their R&D activities. In addition, the program offers a structured path of growth through training bootcamps, international study visits and networking opportunities with key players in the global innovation landscape.
